Long, Lonely Ride Up and Down the 5
47This is my first hub, yay! So exciting. What better way to start my hub page extravaganza, than to do it by talking about a long ride I went on today. I headed up Interstate 5 and went all the way into Long Beach, CA. I got off at Lakewood Blvd, I believe it was, and went towards the ocean. I got to a turnabout that had a huge diameter. So, I had to take advantage of the fact that I was wearing my leathers. I must have gone around that thing about twelve times just leaning hard throughout. Every now and then I had to bring it up, because someone would get in front of me, but no worries, they would leave the circle fairly quickly. What's even better was when I came around and noticed two SUV's stopped right next to each other in the middle of the road. And when I say next to each other, I mean, really next to each other. They were side to side, because some lady didn't see the other car and tried to get out of the turnabout and smashed right into the side of her. Some people really just shouldn't be driving.
Anyway, when I left the turnabout, I made my way back South toward home, on the Pacific Coast Highway. Today was gorgeous. Everyone was out, and boy were there some gorgeous women out today to go with the gorgeous day. Bathing suits, sunglasses, sundresses, windows down, smelling good. What more could I ask for? Well, we all know what more I could have asked for, but I kept it at looking.
I rode a lot today. After I got back down to Oceanside, I decided to keep going and rode all the way into San Diego, then turned around and came back up to Oceanside again. Best part was that I destroyed my tire today. That's the conclusion of my very short story. Too much straight riding, and the tire has a lot of miles on it already, so the center is shredding and threads are starting to pop out. Can't wait to get my new tire. Hopefully by next weekend so I can enjoy any nice weather we have then.

You are one lucky guy, CJ. Freedom to do what you like sounds great to me. Welcome to hubpages.
